	is samba loaded?
	what samba version (3.5.0 and above)?
		rhel 6 & 7, not 5
		suse ???
		hpux ??? (lowest pri)
	is it running? 

-identify what systems have the above fingerprint

-produce process and test on our own server (or non-prod)
	have a share
	introduce change (below items)
	does share still work

-if they have fingerpint
	###assume you are following operational processes w/ co and cust
	#start w/ non-prod, test; then prod

	-is samba running?
		if not (low priority): update smb.conf w/ value - done
		if is running (priority): 
			stop samba
			change smb.conf
			start samba
			test
